Voice Studio

Lauren is a Seattle-based voice teacher specializing in private lessons. She has also taught beginner piano and songwriting. Lauren believes that singing is a powerful outlet for instilling confidence and self-expression, and aims to inspire a love of singing in young performers as well as refine the skills and technique of experienced singers. Lauren has studied with renowned voice teachers herself, such as Kate Bass and Kari Ragan, and has developed a method of teaching voice that is active and encouraging. As each voice is different just as each singer is different, Lauren teaches that we sing with more than just our voices; our bodies, our minds, our hearts and souls. Because of this, Lauren’s lesson space is one that supports discovery, creativity and growth in musicianship and artistry.

Lauren’s students have ranged from all ages and she enjoys teaching both children and adults. She specializes in musical theatre, pop/rock and singer-songwriter styles. Lauren is an accomplished vocalist herself, having earned her degree in Theatre and Music from Pepperdine University in 2022. Since then, she’s performed at 54 Below in New York City and with Showtunes Theatre in Seattle, with more exciting local performances to be announced later in 2024. She has released original music as well, with three singles and one EP available on all music platforms.
